A horrible accident transforms half of the population into mutants. Isolated, with their previous identity erased and herded as cattle, they must overcome the trauma of the transformation and return to live little by little, adapting to the very hard rules that normal society imposes on them. Who is the monster here when what you look like becomes what you are in the eyes of the state and the people? Birdman is a satirical story, with an acid and powerful criticism of what security, normality and identity mean. A heir of all the animated narrative of the ’90s and fattened with an absurd humor, this series will make us laugh as well as cry.
